From latin “aequalis”, of “aequus”, united, just, the notion of equality comes from the principle of isonomy, one of the fundamentals of Athenian, French and European democracy.

 

Toufitos, 2 in 1 book, between humanitarian and scholar project:

Our first book for children represents the vision of equality girl/boy and man/women throughout the education of equitable sharing of household chores (cooking and cleaning), hygiene and safety (fundamental habits which reduces the transmission of virus and bacteria)

 

"Let's play with the Toufitos - Jouons avec les Toufitos" is a bilingual, multicultural, non-gender, interactive, handmade book for 2- to 6-Year-Olds (bonded with interchangeable fabrics coming from the entire world) and artistic (every book is unique). Imagined in 2020, then created by Ana RODRIGUEZ (text writing), Roque PIRES (creation of characters) and Cherish Ann SISCAR (rewriting, animation and production), this project has seen the light of day in October 2022 particularly thanks to Magnolia CHIANG-LALUC, doctor in Psychology, Clinical psychologist, Psychotherapist.

 

The English version was translated by Pria SISCAR (Franco-Indian Biochemical Engineer) and Iside CONSTANTINI (Franco-British), a university lecturer at UBO (Université de Bretagne Occidentale), then at Sorbonne Nouvelle; re-read and corrected by Jean-Yves LE DISEZ, writer, doctor and a professorial lecturer in English at UBO. According to your generosity and opportunities that will arise, another French-Spanish-English version will be translated by Fátima RODRIGUEZ (Spanish Galician writer and literary translator).

The book has been presented at the Art Gallery Night 2023, of Brest, by the Argentinian artist engraver María Renati.
